Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! That's the sound I just made when I found out Foodbuzz.com selected MY proposal for one of their 24/24/24 meals to be featured on their website this month! The meal will happen on Saturday, August 29th, and be posted both on my blog and on Foodbuzz.com on Sunday, August 30th. Woo hoo!
This is JUST the great news I needed today. I am very excited and am already planning the menu. My proposal was a Recession Recipes party, where I feature recipes that are affordable and delicious; ideas that show that eating affordably does NOT mean eating flavorlessly. I have a bunch of fun summer recipes spinning around in my head, and they're all budget-friendly. I stressed the fact that food brings together people in a wonderful way, and the night will be just as much about the company as it is about the food. I can't wait!!
